We'll be holding an open house on Saturday, July 25 during the All Class Reunion weekend. Come in for cake, punch and other goodies between 10 and 2!
Earlier this month, SB 850, which made drastic cuts to library services in Pennsylvania, was defeated in the House. Cuts like those in Senate Bill 850 could mean the elimination of Interlibrary Loan and Power Library, cuts in programs and hours, and fewer materials at the library. As the June 30th deadline nears, new budget negotiations will begin, and we need you to keep pressure on our legislators to keep sufficient funding for libraries in the budget.
Our friend Jack has created a Blair County History website called Live Blair County. He's partnered with the library to post some of our historical items online. Check out the site for photos of the Children's Home Fire in 1975.
We have new books and DVD's for summer. Find the list here .
